ORCCA (Open-Response Chemistry Cognitive Assistant) is an online intelligent tutoring system developed to support students as they formulate and complete calculations in introductory chemistry. The learning activities are freeform, meant to emulate problem solving with paper and pencil while offering real-time feedback and next-step hints when needed. These tutors were created using the Cognitive Tutor Authoring Tools (CTAT) from Carnegie Mellon University.
